Ka kite, from 2016 Rua Tekau Kaitiaki
During this term we have learnt about our favourite NZ Native animal. Our inquiry into rubbish and how we can reduce this to preserve our environment have led us to think about how to protect the creatures that live within it. We have made small clay creatures and painted them to represent our chosen toanga. Thanks to Tiki Tane for creating such a beautiful song "No place like home" which we have borrowed as a backing track.
